WINTER HAS ARRIVED - RYE-FIELD GARDENING LTD

Winter has arrived so now is the time to move fragile plants

into frost protected areas or wrap up especially tree ferns which can also be protected with straw.

Make sure all outside taps are off to prevent freezing and check fences after every strong wind for security.

Also, all tree work is best carried out in the winter together with clearing gutters from fallen leaves and debris

We have a beautiful flowering wisteria at Ryefield HQ which I prune every year in December when the leaves have fallen
